This 1-hour webinar explores the impact of implicit bias and microaggressions on the health of Pan-Asian physicians and trainees. These factors exacerbated preexisting unique challenges and barriers that Pan-Asian physicians and trainees already faced in work and learning environments, such as the 鈥渂amboo ceiling.鈥 The 鈥渕odel minority鈥 myth and 鈥減erceived foreignness鈥 at the front line of usual and pandemic-related care are particularly damaging to the Pan-Asian workforce.
