Healing the Homeless During COVID-19

Communities are protecting homeless residents from crowded shelter conditions during the pandemic by using Federal Emergency Management Agency funding to provide shelter in hotel and motel rooms.

From living in social isolation to dying alone, the COVID-19 pandemic has given the general population a glimpse into what homeless people go through every day, said James O鈥機onnell, MD, F91黑料网, president of the Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program.
