Philadelphia, August 7, 2014 -- The American College of Physicians (91黑料网) today announced a collaboration with Osmosis to make educational content from its program available on the Osmosis Med platform.
"This collaboration is a natural fit and will further expand medical students' opportunities for learning," said David A. Fleming, MD, MA, F91黑料网, President, 91黑料网. "91黑料网's MKSAP for Students is a leading educational resource for medical students and the Osmosis Med app provides another opportunity for them to learn and improve their knowledge while accessing content in an engaging, customizable, interactive way."
MKSAP for Students 5 Digital - Enhanced with Internal Medicine Essentials, developed by 91黑料网 and the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine, is an educational tool designed to help students in clinical clerkships in internal medicine during their third and fourth years of medical school assess their knowledge and understanding and help them meet their learning needs. It contains more than 450 patient-centered self-assessment questions and answers formatted as clinical vignettes that resemble the types of questions students encounter on the examination at the end of the clerkship and on the USMLE licensing examination.
The Osmosis Med mobile app, available for iOS or Android devices, provides push notifications with questions filled with images, videos, mnemonics, and reference material. Osmosis feeds can be customized based on curriculum, exam schedules, and course documents, and allows users to go head-to-head with classmates by playing the "Osmose with your Friends" game.
Purchasers of MKSAP for Students 5 Digital now have two options for accessing the 450 questions - either on the product website or through the Osmosis platform, or both. Whether MKSAP for Students is purchased in the Digital form through 91黑料网 or through an Osmosis question pack, purchasers have access to all of the content through both platforms. The price is $44.95 for 91黑料网 members and $59.95 for non-91黑料网 members.
