GOVERNOR’S MESSAGE
Dear 91ºÚÁÏÍø Ontario Family:
I am now well into my first year as Governor, and I am becoming more excited about the place of 91ºÚÁÏÍø in supporting Internists in Ontario. Already we have sponsored one wellness activity for our residents, and we will be looking for more opportunities to partner with Internists in both community and academic centres to support 91ºÚÁÏÍø priorities.
Your Council is being refreshed with new community representation, and we are starting to look towards programming for our 2020 Annual Meeting. Personally, I would like to see us continue to develop skills and capacity to advocate better for what is important to our membership. I would also like to see us create networks of like-minded internists in which it is safe to discuss our successes, failures, struggles, and challenges in a way that garners the right kind of support. Stay tuned! We are planning some upcoming webinars, and I would like you to be involved.
Once again, I am proud to announce that the Ontario Chapter has the annual 91ºÚÁÏÍø Chapter Excellence Award! It is the members whose contributions make this an outstanding chapter!
